Business Development Manager
Location: Manchester
A company that enjoys a reputation as one of the country’s leading consultants to the built, natural and social environment seeks a candidate who willl be at the forefront of all Business Development and Marketing activities emanating from the Manchester office. The role will include the analysis of marketing opportunities to ensure that they are best positioned to benefit from established market sectors and to prepare for emerging and new markets. The candidate will be responsible for raising the company`s profile in the regional*national market place and the continuous improvement and quality of marketing material and submission documents. The recognition and pursuit of new opportunities is essential to move the business into higher return markets at the same time as maintaining ongoing relationships with established clientele.
The candidate will ideally come from a consultancy*contracting background and will have excellent contacts in the North West. The role is not discipline specific but the candidate will have a broad knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering activities. He*she will be degree qualified and preferably Chartered in one of the core engineering disciplines.
